Washfield Nursery in England sold mixed seedlings of Asian parentage under the umbrella name “Asiatic Hybrid”. Dan Hinkley originally purchased this clone from them. Tall sprays of delicate, small, pale pink flowers with deeper cups bloom above medium-sized, spring leaflets of a metallic maroon hue. Usually 12-15”, re-blooming stems may reach 20”. Evergreen, arrow shaped leaflets.
